Install the CLI¶

The CLI is the eve-iac console script from the eve-iac Python package (same wheel as the SDK). Product version 0.9.0. The name is not on the public Python index.

pip install eve-iac --index-url https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/eve-ng-dev%2Feve-iac/packages/pypi/simple
eve-iac --help
eve-iac --version

Or install a wheel from a GitLab Release / out/python/:

pip install eve_iac-0.9.0-py3-none-any.whl

--help must list --insecure. Older 0.4.2 wheels do not have that flag.

From this repository without installing:

PYTHONPATH=sdk/python:cli python3 -m eveiac_cli --help

Requires Python 3. The CLI talks to eve-iac-agent over HTTPS. It does not replace the agent. Pin the agent CA for CI (--ca-file / EVE_IAC_CA_FILE). Optional --insecure is lab/dev only — see CLI security.
